This is a little applet that I made, a few hot summer evenings in 2006. I was a bit Sudoku-mad that summer and wanted to test the effectiveness of a few strategies. Add as many values as you are sure of and click 'hint' or 'solve'.
Help:
- Click on "Add" to start filling values in the sudoku. Click on one of the squares, and press one of the keys '1' to '9' to add the value to the square.
- Erase the whole sudoku by clicking on the "clear" button
- Click on "Hint" to be given a hint if the program can find one
- Click on "Solve" and the program will try to solve as far as it can
